Beauty, Strength and Vulnerability

Image
Brenden Sanborn Brenden Sanborn, an artist hailing from South Florida, has dedicated over two decades of his life to the exploration and celebration of the human figure. Not confined to a single medium, Brenden has cultivated a versatile portfolio that encompasses watercolors, oils, acrylics, and even digital art created with Procreate. This variety of mediums is a testament to Brenden's adaptability and adventurous spirit as an artist. For him, painting is more than merely arranging lines and shapes on a canvas; it's a spiritual journey that delves deep into the human condition, expressing realms of sensitivity, passion, tenderness, and vulnerability that often go unseen. The human form, to him, is a vessel of strength, humility, and sensuality, and he expertly captures these traits through his art.   GIANCARLO  BALISCIANO  Since I can remember, I’ve always been attracted to Art and tried to express myself artistically. Growing up in Italy in a Military family where everyone excelled in everything besides Art was challenging. Still, I found a way to express myself in school, where my favorite academic subjects were Art and Music (where I always excelled). I discovered my love for photography at a very early age taking pictures with my father’s camera. My father initially supported me until I became serious with it, and this is when he made me stop. The only thing I enjoyed (artistically enough) was cooking. So, I joined a culinary school and became a chef. The best part of being a chef was that it allowed me to work and travel worldwide. My life after leaving Italy became very diverse,...

Sami Davidson Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised during the 1960s I was inspired by the rich tapestry of artists and music that surrounded me. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Andy Warhol, Georgia O’Keefe were my early influences. This led me to pursuing a career in art and two art degrees. Throughout my art journey, I explored various mediums, from clay and the potters wheel and stained glass to collage and painting. I also became involved in various creative businesses and ventures. I dedicated over three decades to teaching art to  k-9 in Florida and New York City. My sons were involved in modeling in South Beach and I wrote and published a book about child modeling called “ Big Bucks, Little Kids.” and I also owned a children’s Shoelace Company called “Sassy Laces”.  Ultimately, I found my true calling and started painting large, colorful, abstract compositions. Today in South Florida, I’m deeply involved in the art scene where my art has garnered accolades and awards. ...
